Riga Shipping Dinner 2020 is cancelled, hope to meet you next Spring, on 29-30 April 2021.
After careful monitoring of the situation, risks analysis and consultation with our clients and partners – we have made the difficult decision not to hold Riga Shipping Dinner in 2020. When in March we decided to postpone the event to September, we were full of optimism and hope that by autumn the epidemiological situation associated with COVID-19 would return to normal, but, unfortunately, the situation in Europe and around the world is still unstable, the risks remain that that at any time, new bans and restrictions may be introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
We are cancelling the 2020 event, taking into account, that our event is international (this year we have registered participants from 19 countries) and we are determined to keep this format always. Moreover, the Riga Shipping Dinner format has always been very friendly, conducive to close communication, because when friends and long-term partners meet, one cannot do without handshakes, embraces and informal conversations with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
With the hope that in 2021 all the hardships and limitations associated with COVID-19 will be gone, we announce the dates of Riga Shipping Dinner 2021 — April 29-30, 2021 (April 29 – Official programme (Conference and Gala Dinner); April 30 – Informal programme (Shipping golf day)).
Fees paid could either be used for participation in Riga Shipping Dinner 2021 or refunded. In case you wish to cancel your participation in the event and refund the participation fee, please, inform the organisers by writing short email to info@shippingdinner.com. If you have booked a flight and/or a hotel, be sure to make cancellation or rescheduling in time.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
- Please fill in the participant registration form and till 09.04.2021 send it by email: info@shippingdinner.com. We will send you confirmation and invoice shortly after receiving your request.
- Please note that Riga Shipping Dinner is the event dedicated to top level executives from the shipping industry and you only can attend this event if you are approved by organizers.

- The organizer of the event sends customers an invoice according to the information given on the participant registration form shortly after your request. If you haven’t received our answer, please check your junk e-mail folder. If you still cannot find our answer to your request, please contact us at info@shippingdinner.com.
The organizer of the event (Riga Shipping Dinner) is Marine Services Group company — Inter Survey SIA (Reg. No. 40103169281, 4a Baznicas Street, Riga, LV-1010, Latvia).
CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION
1. Leaving an invoice unpaid does not count as a cancellation. Please write us short email: info@shippingdinner.com.
2. If you want to cancel your registration when the invoice has been paid already and the money is received on the organizer’s account, please note — cancellations are only accepted in writing. The refund payment will be made on the basis of a written request from the client via email: info@shippingdinner.com.
The following cancellations charges apply:
- 3+ weeks notice: 70% refund (30% is held to cover the administrative costs)
- 0-3 weeks notice: No refund
PAYMENT
1. Payment upon invoice must be received, in full, prior to the event.
2. If payment upon invoice has not been received prior to the event you will be asked to make payment on the day of event (access to the event may be refused at Riga Shipping Dinner organizers discretion).
